And The Reviews Are In...
Here's what some reviewers have said about my work:

This short story is an incredible piece of literature. The raw, intense, and painfully realistic sentences are riveting, potent and beautifully written. It captured me each time I read it, wanting more and more of your electrifying, carefully chosen words. I thought this story was outstanding and oh-so-believable. I look forward to seeing your literature published in the Literary Liftoff Magazine.

Sincerely, Your Reviewer and Editor, Joyce. (Literary Liftoff Magazine, www.scwg.org)

Wow! How touching, beautiful... bittersweet.

This was extraordinarily well written. You managed to make it bittersweet without making it overly sappy."

JW Schnarr, Editor--Shadows to the Emerald City

I feel as if I should say something profound...

The hamster is dead, but the wheel's still turning.

In all seriousness, my name is Lori T. Strongin, and I've wanted to be a writer since before I can remember.

Former conference director of the Florida Writers Association, I currently work at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL and am an English/Creative Writing honors graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and served as a board member of the Sigma Tau Delta honors society.

I've been published in several literary journals, trade magazines and anthologies, including Tip o' the Tongue, Reflections of the Flatirons, Beneath the Harvest Moon, The Florida Palm, The Florida Writer, Literary Liftoff, Forbidden Speculation, Tales of the Talisman, Renard's Menagerie, Shadows of the Emerald City, Emerald Tales,  Encounters, and most recently in Whispering Dragons Magazine

I currently have four completed novels.  Two are the first books of the Young Adult Cuhulaiin Chronicles--The Morretain Prince and Dragonseeker.  The third is a middle grade novel, Tales of the Rockledge Reevers.  Fourth is a humorous Urban Fantasy, Bite Me, which stars a vegetarian vampire and a hyperactive werewolf with a penchant for whiskey.

Also, I have done freelance work for TripConnect.com, JobMonkey.com, TheEmploymentTimes.com, TheSavvyGal.com, TravelSmart, and SideStep.com.  You can see the complete listing of my works by clicking on Current Publications.

Check out my blog for learnings and musings on the life of a writer, plus Writer Chai, A Sip of Wisdom--an online project hosted by the Orlando Writers Group with great articles (some written by me), advice, and resources for writers of all genres, disciplines, and backgrounds.

And don't forget about The World Traveler, where I've posted some of my favorite pictures from the places I've been fortunate enough to visit (I've been to all 50 states, Canada, the Bahamas, Israel, Italy, and the United Kingdom.)
